Autism Awareness Workshops

This workshop is designed for adults but it can be adapted for secondary schools as well.

It is best delivered to a room of 8 to 16 individuals but again we can adapt it to suit a larger group. The full workshop is 3 hours long (including a scheduled break halfway through). The condensed/mini workshop lasts approximately 1 hour. It aims to offer participants a well rounded overview of autism.

School talks and visits

A visit from one of our four-legged friends is always a hit in the classroom and offers a fantastic opportunity to educate students on autism and Assistance Dogs.

We tailor each visit to suit the age range and size of the group, with our ambassadors explaining the role of Autism Assistance Dogs, how they are trained, and what autism is. They also cover important service dog etiquette, like why working dogs shouldn’t be distracted, and are happy to answer any burning questions!
