Since its founding in 2010, AADI has been committed to providing highly trained assistance dogs, fostering independence, safety, and inclusion for children with autism. Over the past 15 years, the organisation has achieved significant milestones, including:
- Placing numerous assistance dogs with families across Ireland.
- Launching the successful School Support Dog Programme, benefiting students nationwide.
- Advocating for greater awareness and support for autism assistance initiatives.
David McCarthy, Head of Fundraising and Communications at AADI, reflected on the journey, stating, “Reaching our 15th anniversary is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our CEO and Founder Nuala Geraghty who leads our team, volunteers, and supporters. We are proud of the positive impact we’ve made and remain committed to expanding our services to support even more families in the future.”
